When you pick a Homunculus server, look at the rate first: it decides how many hours the road to the level cap takes and what the endgame looks like. Then check how long the project has existed, how often it wipes and how many players vote for it. A fresh server with a clear opening date is usually the best moment to join, because everyone starts from the same point.
